Hello, We are researching the Boschung family in the USA and Switzerland.
We are interested in the Boschungs in the village of Jaun and surrounding area.
We believe that our ancestors came from here and we are looking for a connection with these Boschungs.
Our ancestor emigrated from Switzerland in 1731 to colony of Pennsylvania in America. Here is what we know:

Johann Jacob Boschung born abt 1692 possibly near Jaun, Canton Fribourg (Parents unknown). He married before 1720 to a Barbara (surname unknown)
Four children born in Europe:
Magdalene born abt. 1720
Johann Philip born abt 1722
Anna Barbara born abt 1725
Christina born abt 1728

Oral history is that they were French Huguenot. Are there any civil or church records on any of these family members?
